August 13 Turtle Talk 3:30pm Forsyth Nature Center

August 15 Birdscaping your Backyard 11:00am Forsyth Nature Center Birdscaping your backyard means more than sticking a few plants in the ground, learn about the avian visitors you hope to attract and their needs, habitat simulation, design, and water features will also be discussed. August 29 Jamaica Bay Shorebirds 5:00am-4:00pm Forsyth Nature Center
We will take the Forsyth Nature Center van to Jamaica Bay, Queens to witness fall shorebird migration. Reservations are required. A lunch, muck boots, spotting scope and proper attire for hot, humid, and sunny conditions a plus! Nominal Fee. 845-331-1682, ext 117.
