February 6 Hudson River Snowshoe Hike 10:00am Kingston Point Park. Come explore historic Kingston Point Park on snowshoes. These programs are designed for beginner snowshoers. February 9 Adult Nature Walks 8:30am Forsyth Nature Center. This bi-monthly program visits some of the best walking/hiking locations in the Mid-Hudson Valley. This program is geared toward adults and is free. Transportation is provided. These walks are 2-3 miles and weather permitting. To register call 845-331-1682, ext 132.
February 20 Croton Point Eagle Excursion 8:00am Forsyth Nature Center. Many Bald Eagles congregate in the Lower Hudson during the winter months. Stops at Croton Point Park and Piermont Pier will offer great vantage points for viewing waterfowl and even owls. Dress warmly, bring a lunch and transportation is provided. Kingston residents $7, non-residents $10.
